In 1907, Dr. Maria Montessori, using an experimental type of scientific education, was surprised to discover the child’s true nature by observing young children in their free, self-directed activity. She found that this “true nature” became visible by such normal outward qualities as spontaneous self-discipline, love of order, and perfect harmony with others. But how to actually experience this same “true natural” reality” has remained an elusive mystery of practitioners of the “Montessori Method” for many years.
At the IMS Wichita, Kansas workshop I conducted last year, I showed an exercise to experience this true natural reality within yourself. And, beyond that, a way to project this same reality with young children to bring this about in their outward behavior, to eventually alter the reality of the whole world into a state of perfect peace, order, and harmony with laws of nature.
The tools for creating this “true natural” reality are available now as a ‘technology’ to practice scientific education in a precise, objective manner that was never possible before. All this is now contained in a book I wrote on the subject, entitled, “The Technology of Scientific Education”. The video with this post shows how I offered educators in Wichita a way to experience this incredible reality for themselves. Watch the video to see for yourself.
