IMS Recognizes Montessori Schools

Let me ask, does your school follow laws of nature? If so, then your school is committed to “true natural” scientific teaching, and may become officially recognized as a Montessori school by the International Montessori Society (IMS).

IMS recognizes schools that employ this approach, committed to laws of nature in their operation.  This is the original pure scientific type of observation that brought about the child’s true nature by Dr. Montessori in 1907.  Following this approach, you are therefore duplicating this same approach to children, except now in a conscious, intentional manner.  Today, IMS offers a powerful “technology” for conducting this approach in an objective, reliable way that was never possible before.   This technology is now all consolidated in a single text, “The Technology of Scientific Education”, which is available through the IMS website, as well as other bookselling outlets around the world.

IMS recognition assures that schools committed to this “true natural” scientific teaching will be properly distinguished from those schools that may use the name “Montessori”, but represent a commitment to “personality” or “culture” instead, which does not bring about the young child’s true nature.

So, if you agree with and are committed to following laws of nature with children at your school, you are invited and welcome to apply to IMS for recognition to join with others in the IMS international family of recognized Montessori schools.

IMS recognized schools receive a signed certificate of recognition and are listed on the IMS website with all pertinent contact information. The fee for recognition is $10 per enrolled child, up to a maximum of $700 per year. Discounts are available for schools that are active in IMS training.
