Technology of Scientific Education

In 2003, Lee Havis consolidated a body of practical guidance for conducting scientific education that follows laws of nature to bring about the child’s true nature.   It is organized into a set of 10 techniques, 20 protocols, 3 lesson presentations and a number of safe words, which applied with children allows you to conduct your scientific experiments to create the unique “scientific environment” that brings about the child’s true nature that Dr. Montessori accidentally discovered  In 1907.   This current technology allows you to create these conditions with children in an objective, scientific manner that was never possible before.

In the IMS technology, the 10 techniques are what to do, and the protocols are how to use these techniques in practice with children. The safe words provide specific guidance to craft and control your use of verbal techniques with children. Lesson presentations are forms of interaction between the teacher and child, which combine the various techniques, protocols and safe words into recognizable patterns of activity. The technology is presented in other IMS forms, such as the IMS distance learning course, webinars, and workshops.

Now, the 2023 text on the subject, entitled “The Technology of Scientific Education” (by Lee Havis), consolidates all this knowledge into one complete text.  It is now available for purchase through IMS, and also through on-line booksellers around the world.
