The Montessori News is an 8-page newspaper sent by IMS to all members two times each year, Spring and Fall. It is especially design for parents and other non-professional educators to learn more about IMS programs and Montessori teaching. Included in each issues is a summary of IMS services, publications, and other resources available resources, such as the Danbury audio cd and study guide, which is a useful self-study introduction for learning the IMS technology of Montessori teaching.
The Montessori News also includes condensed articles from recent issues of the Montessori Observer, as well as reports on progress and development of various IMS programs such as teacher education and character teaching.
IMS members receive the News at each publication date. However, non-members can receive a free current or back issue of this publication on request by email to IMS. Join IMS, either individual or school membership, to receive a regular subscription.  IMS recognized Montessori schools, listed at this web site, receive a free bulk mailing of the News in sufficient quantity for distribution to all parents and staff.
