Teaching the Technology

One day, I saw one of my teachers attempt to resolve a misbehavior situation with two children by shouting and grabbing materials out of their hands. Since I was sensitive to his likely defensive attitude if I corrected him at that time, I decided to use the technique “imagination-previsioning” to analyze and correct the problem first in my mind through quiet meditation.

On another day, the same two children were again mishandling materials as before, and I told the teacher to just watch as I used the technology to resolve the misbehavior so it completely disappeared. Later, I asked him what he observed, and he said he noticed I didn’t shout and that I was calm with my approach.

The next day, the same two children were again abusing materials, and this time, I asked the teacher to try and resolve the situation on his own. So, I watched him in this process; first struggling to control his personality to stay calm, and then finally resolving the misbehavior just the way I had demonstrated to him before. That was how he gradually reduced his shouting and grabbing behavior, and began to use the technology more regularly and effectively each day.
