In June 2024, the Character Teaching (CT) consultation board in Uganda welcomed new member, Irene Nakalembe, to serve with Caroline Mpyisi in this project to employ scientific teaching to overcome poverty among children in that country. Irene will contribute her considerable background in the medical field.  In addition, she has demonstrated her interest in scientific teaching as we, since she is co-owner and director of the IMS recognized “Acres of Fun Preschool” which was established in 2022 in Kampala.

Since 2011, she has been active in the nursing profession in several locations in the USA. In this field, she has focused especially on resolving problems with autism in children.
