Ghana
   In October, 2024, Isaiah Kofi Tefutor accepted appointment to serve as the initial member of the IMS-sponsored “Character Teaching” (CT) project in Ghana, West Africa. As founder and director of AUST International Montessori School in Accra, Ghana, he also established its recognition with IMS at that time as well.
   Isaiah brings to the CT project a 20-year background in the field of education, specializing in the training and supervision of personnel in the aviation field of air traffic safety. His vast educational background includes a master of engineering, B.Sc in Computer Science and post graduate diploma in communication management from Coventry University, UK. With such an extensive background in this highly specialized field, Isaiah has been in demand to conduct training courses and supervision in this area in many countries around the world.
   Isaiah proposes that the president of Ghana be contacted to obtain his letter of support for the CT project after the national elections in December, 2024. Until then, he plans to inform NGOs involved in education of poor children about the project, to solicit their support. He points out especially that “personal relationships are crucial, especially when dealing with innovative and transformative initiatives like the CT project. I will also reach out to the national education office, as they could be key stakeholders in broader discussions about educational reform in Ghana.”
   Most recently, Isaiah has been working with IMS to conduct a two-day workshop, “Creating the “True Natural” Reality” in Ghana, which focused on training teachers in the practical use of the “technology” designed for scientific teaching.

Kenya
   In 2007, Jared Otieno joined the Character Teaching project and initiated a letter of support from his NGO Humanitarian organization. Much later, in April, 2023, CT/Kenya was renewed with the addition of Everline Oiye as a new member of the consultation board.
   Everline brings a substantial background of experience, interest and love of children to this project. Besides holding a diploma from Dean’s Teacher College in Nairobi, she has taught children as a volunteer in the Kibera slums of Nairobi for the last 15 years. She states, “I love doing this so much. Despite so many challenges we face here in Kibera slums, these children are gifted and talented in so many ways…. Life is very tough here but we always embrace happy faces wherever we go.”
   In her work, Everline takes special interest to share her learning experiences and knowledge with parents as well. She says, “I also have a group of parents who meet every Saturday in the evening. Together we share experiences with children, so I can guide and counsel them.”
   In 2026, Everline received a copy of Lee’s book, “The Technology of Scientific Education“, which she is using with the children she supervises. She also met with CT board member, Jared Otieno to organize meetings with officials in the Kenya Ministry of Education. Jared is now active as a candidate for president of Kenya, and still remains eager to help advance the CT project with the contacts he has developed as a leader in the various humanitarian projects he is active in the country.
