Technology of Scientific Education
Essential practical tools for scientific teaching to bring about the child’s true nature
Presenter: Lee Havis, executive director and founder of International Montessori Society (IMS)
About the Webinar
In this webinar, you will learn breakthrough technology that unlocks the mystery of scientific education that allows the child’s true nature to emerge in the world. At each session, Lee Havis, creator of this technology, presents a different topic to highlight specific aspects of the techniques, protocols, safe words, and lesson presentation that make up this technology.
What is Scientific Education?
In the early 1800’s, the French physician, Dr. Gaspard Itard conducted research to observe and record the free, self-directed behavior of a “wild” child under his care. Later, his colleague, Dr. Eduard Seguin extended the use of this approach, now termed “scientific education”, by creating self-teaching materials for his research with mentally deficient children.Â
In 1907, Dr. Montessori, an Italian physician, used this “scientific education” with preschool aged children, which somehow brought about each child’s true nature of perfect peace, order, and harmony. Today, this “scientific education” aims to bring about this same true natural being in the child. Now, however, the specialized technology of this webinar is available to transform a mysterious Montessori “method” into a truly objective, scientific process that anyone can learn and apply with children.
What is the “Technology”
The IMS Technology of Scientific Education is a unique, specialized set of practical tools and guidance for conducting objective experiments with children to bring about their true natural being. Using this technology, you can now conduct the same experiment that led to Dr. Montessori’s discovery of the child’s true nature in 1907, except now in an objective, scientific manner that was never possible before.
The technology itself consists of 10 specific techniques, 20 protocols, 3 lesson presentations and various safe words. The techniques are the basic things to do and actions to take in conducting your experiments. The protocols and safe words regulate and control your use of the techniques in this process. The lesson presentations are the experimental interactions you conduct by combining the techniques together in a meaningful manner. All this is described and presented in this 8-week webinar.
Materials
Each participant must have a computer or mobile device with internet access.
It is recommended that each participant purchase a copy of the IMS “Danbury Study Guide” to further benefit learning in the webinar. (40 page introduction to technology of scientific teaching) First ten (10) persons to register in the US will receive a FREE copy.
Each session includes a “Home Study Report” to complete between each session.
