With the growth of IT and use of computers, there has developed a great abundance of useful information about Montessori education available through the web and internet. Of course, quality and value is a matter of individual taste and level of interest. For example, there is much more superficial knowledge, often linked to commercial interests of companies and organizations that seek financial benefit from the opportunity of wide scale advertising.
The International Montessori Society has a presence on the web, and provides a considerable amount of resources for the benefit of all those interested in the “true natural” type of Montessori teaching. For example, IMS sponsors an on-line discussion group, “Montessori Tools and Tips” which anyone with a Facebook account can join.  This group has over 6,000+ international members who are interested to learn and discuss issues related to Montessori teaching and especially how to use the unique IMS technology. IMS also invites Facebook users to visit its Facebook IMS page: https://www.facebook.com/imsmontessori/  In addition, IMS publishes an occasional free digital newsletter that offers occasional news and information for those who wish to keep in touch. Subscribe to IMS digital email list.
